Counseling Services
Support for what you're navigating now, and where you want to go next.
People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes there is a specific challenge or transition that brings you here. Other times, you may simply know that something feels difficult, overwhelming or stuck.
We offer warm, collaborative counseling for late teens and adults. Our therapists bring different areas of focus to their work, allowing us to provide support across a range of experiences while tailoring therapy to the individual.
ADHD & Executive Functioning
ADHD can affect far more than attention. It can influence organization, time management, relationships, work, school, emotional regulation and the way you see yourself.
Rebekah has a particular focus on working with ADHDers, including those who were diagnosed later in life or are beginning to understand their experiences through an ADHD lens. Therapy can provide a place to better understand how your brain works, recognize your strengths and develop strategies that make everyday life feel more manageable.
Areas of support may include: late diagnosed ADHD, executive functioning, overwhelm, organization and planning, transitions, self understanding and the impact of ADHD on relationships and daily life.
Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety can show up in many ways, from persistent worry and overthinking to feeling overwhelmed, irritable, restless or unable to switch off.
Therapy can help you understand what's contributing to your anxiety, recognize patterns and develop ways to respond differently. Rather than simply trying to make difficult feelings disappear, we'll work together to help you feel more capable of navigating them.
Both Rebekah and Samm work with clients experiencing anxiety and stress.
Life Transitions
Change can be difficult, even when it's a change you chose.
Graduating from high school, starting college, beginning a career, changing jobs, ending a relationship, going through a divorce or entering a new stage of family life can bring a complicated mix of emotions.
Therapy offers space to process what's changing, understand what you need and find your footing as you move into what's next.
Relationships & Patterns
Relationships can bring connection and support, but they can also reveal patterns that leave us feeling frustrated, disconnected or stuck.
Counseling can provide a space to explore how you relate to others, better understand recurring patterns and behaviors, strengthen communication and consider what you want from the relationships in your life.
Grief & Loss
Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and loss can take many forms.
Therapy can offer a supportive place to process what you've experienced and make room for the emotions that come with loss. Rebekah works with clients navigating grief while recognizing that there is no single "right" way to move through it.
Support for Parents & Caregivers
Parenting can bring joy, change, uncertainty and plenty of challenges along the way. Sometimes parents need a space of their own to feel supported, understood and heard.
We work with parents and caregivers navigating a wide range of family experiences, including the unique needs that can come with raising a child with ADHD or autism. Together, you can explore family dynamics, work through challenges and find approaches that support both your child and your own wellbeing.
Therapy centered around the whole person.
Our therapists take a relational, strengths based approach to counseling. That means therapy isn't simply about identifying what's "wrong" and trying to fix it. It's about understanding your experiences, recognizing the strengths you already have and building a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable being yourself.
As social workers, we also recognize that none of us exists in isolation. Family, relationships, work, community, culture and larger systems can all affect our well being. Those influences are part of the conversation too.
